Jack Daniel’s Battle of the Solo

2023 Jack Daniels - Battle of the Solo (the ‘Competition’) at the Victory Hotel located at 127 Edward Street, Brisbane, QLD, Australia, 4000 from 19 September 2023 to 17 October 2023.
(‘Event’) Terms and Conditions of Entry Carefully read the terms and conditions below before entering the Competition to ensure you are eligible:
1. This Competition is promoted by The Victory Hotel, ABN: 35 636 190 960 www.thevictoryhotel.com.au.
The Victory Hotel reserves the right at any time to disqualify any individual who The Victory Hotel reasonably believes has breached any of the terms and conditions or engaged in any unlawful or other improper conduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Competition or the reputation of The Victory Hotel.
2. To be eligible to enter the Competition, Entrants must be a Solo Music Artist. You can play any music genre however the performance must be a G Rating. You can perform a set of Cover Songs or a set of Original music. To be eligible you must provide a link to a current Facebook Music Page, Instagram Music Page or a You Tube Channel. Entrants that have signed a contract with any record company are eligible to enter the Competition.
3. Entrants must reside within driving distance from the following areas: (1) Brisbane; (2) Sunshine Coast; (3) Gold Coast; or (4) Toowoomba and be able to drive into Brisbane for the Heats and the Finals.
4. All Entrants must be 18 years of age and over.
5. To enter the Competition, the Entrant must provide their Facebook Artist Page link and their You Tube Channel Link.
6. Each Entrant will post on their Social Platforms to advertise the Competition by tagging the Sponsorship and Judging panel @jackdaniels @victoryhotel.brisbanecbd @thepushworthgroup. Posts will include Competition Sign Up, Heat and Final information.
7. The Judging Panel will include a representative of Jack Daniels, The Victory Hotel and The Pushworth Group.
8. The winner of each Heat will be determined by a majority vote by the judges based on the 30-minute performance of each Entrant and will be announced at the end of each Heat.
9. The winners of each Heat will feature in the Grand Final on 17 October. The winner and runner up of the Grand Final will be determined by a majority vote by the judges based on the 30-minute performance of each Entrant and will be announced at the end of the Grand Final.
10. The winners of each Heat and the Grand Final will be determined at the absolute discretion of the judging panel with the determination of the winner to be final and not subject to appeal or review.
11. The winner of the Grand Final will receive a Four (4) week residency at the Victory Hotel valued at $1200.00 in performance fees. They will also be registered with The Pushworth Group and receive a Promotional Package worth $2000.00. This package includes a brand review, design and edit of their current digital assets, copy writing of their bio and Social Media profiles plus access to the Pushworth Musoverse Resource portal to prep for their addition to the Pushworth Client Submission Hub.
12. The runner up will be registered with The Pushworth Group and receive a Promotional Package worth $1000.00. This package includes a design and edit of their current digital assets, copy writing of their bio and Social Media profiles plus access to the Pushworth Musoverse Resource portal to prep for their addition to the Pushworth Client Submission Hub.
13. The winner must be available to perform at the Victory Hotel on Sundays 5,12,19,26 November 3pm – 7pm. In the event that the winner is unable to perform on these dates, the judging panel will appoint the runner up as the Winner.
14. The prizes are non-transferable and not exchangeable. Prizes cannot be transferred or onsold at a premium, offered as a prize or inducement, packaged or otherwise used for advertising, promotional or other commercial purposes.
15. It is a condition of entry to the Competition that all Entrants agree that, while the copyright of their material remains with them, The Victory Hotel, Jack Daniels and The Pushworth Group may use any material provided as part of an entry to the Competition or material recorded/photographed during the Event, without the prior approval of the Entrant, for marketing and promotion purposes as well as any other purpose to be determined by The Victory Hotel at its complete discretion.
16. The Victory Hotel will not be liable for any damages or loss suffered as a result of the Competition.
17. Each Entrant releases and hereby indemnifies and keeps indemnified to the full extent permitted by law The Victory Hotel, its employees, officers, contractors and agents from any claim, suit, action or proceedings (including legal costs on an indemnity basis) by any person against The Victory Hotel where such loss or liability is in connection with the Competition.
