Gritty. Grounded. Heartfelt. A stand-out and engaging performer. From energetic tracks such as the chart topping single ‘Countrified’ to emotive ballads like ‘Dear Dad’ and ‘Simple Then’ (with Brooke Schubert) the heart-warming single ‘We Got This’, to the 2023 singles ‘Get The Girl’, ‘Set Your Sights’ and ‘The Way We Are’, it’s no surprise that Will Day is making a huge impact on the country music scene. 2021/2022 was a wild ride, with single ‘Countrified’ added to iHeartCountry and KIX Country, reaching #12 on the KIX Country Charts and ‘Simple Then’ added to ABC Country, reaching #9 on the KIX Country Charts and #5 on the Countrytown Hottest 50 Charts. Both tracks are included on Will’s debut album ‘Countrified’ and instantly cemented him as a radio favourite.
Will has performed at some of Australia’s most iconic country music festivals, making him a celebrated artist on the festival scene, including Tamworth Country Music Festival, Groundwater Country Music Festival, Savannah in the Road, Gympie Muster, Texas Country Music Festival, Winton’s Way Out West and South Australia’s Curdimurka Outback Ball.
2024 will see extensive touring including a performance at Deni Ute Muster and new releases in the lead up to Will’s second album release in 2025, which includes the new country rock anthem ‘Find Myself A Dirt Road’. This follows recent success with tracks added to multiple Spotify editorial playlists including ‘Fresh Country’, Fresh Finds Country and New Music Friday Country upon their release as well as multiple Apple Music Playlists.
With a genuine gift of storytelling, combined with compelling vocals and the ability to connect with a crowd, Will Day is fast becoming one of Australia’s premier country artists that will undoubtedly be around for years to come.
