Xray Cat is a hard rock band based in Southeast Queensland, featuring the incredible talents of lead vocalist Tara Graham and backed by an all star line-up of musicians (guitarist Simon Gardner, drummer Kris Goodwin and bassist Tommy Hynes). This collaboration delivers the highest standard of performance with plenty of flair and outrageous energy. The phrase ‘live without a net’ aptly describes the musical and visual acrobatics you can expect when this quartet takes the stage.

The repertoire is unapologetically rock, drawing from international superstars such as Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Foo Fighters, Queen etc. through to home grown legends such as AC/DC, Baby Animals and The Living End. Xray Cat are not all things to all people, they are one thing … a skilled, exciting and somewhat dangerous rock band.

As a covers band, they deliver the rock music they love with all the virtuosity and energy it deserves. As original music artists, their debut single ‘Unstoppable’ has received regular airplay on Triple M Brisbane, and their debut gig in 2023 had them on the same bill as Thirsty Merc, Wolfe Bros and The Radiators.
