Born on 17 March 1983 on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, Fortunato Isgro is a vocalist, entertainer and musician (keyboard and guitar) who cites Dean Martin, Engelbert Humperdinck, Tom Jones and Elvis Presley as his major influences.
Fortunato’s music career started at the age of sixteen when he began performing professionally at the local bowls club on a regular basis. A short time later he moved to Melbourne to break into the Italian music scene, where he performed at many Italian clubs throughout Victoria – singing well-known and traditional Italian folk songs he grew up listening to.
After five successful years performing in Melbourne, he returned to Queensland, where he started to grow as an entertainer, building a strong following performing at several RSL clubs, leagues clubs, wineries and festivals in the English entertainment scene.
Fortunato has 20 years of experience in the entertainment business in Australia performing in various formats and venues. He has a large and versatile repertoire, from Italian and European music to country, rock ‘n’ roll, pop, Latin and classic party hits from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. He has strong but smooth vocals which shine when performing ballads.
Fortunato performs various dance styles include rock ‘n’ roll, line dancing, old time, new vogue, latin and ballroom.
Since 2017, Fortunato has enjoyed hosting travel tours to Norfolk Island, Tasmania, Singapore and Italy where his followers join him for exclusive musical holidays. After four successful ‘A Little Bit Country’ tours to Norfolk Island, Fortunato has developed a passion for country music.
Fortunato is based in Brisbane and has a strong fan base in South East Queensland and regional areas including Toowoomba, Stanthorpe, Bundaberg, Roma and Chinchilla. He has recorded and released seven cover albums and one original album throughout his career.
